KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 337 children received back-to-school aid yesterday from an Umno division.
replica rolexThe event was an annual affair organised and sponsored by Umno Youth Cheras and Yayasan Pendidikan Cheras.
The 337 children received schoolbags, uniforms, shoes, socks and stationery.
The ceremony was officiated by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Maj-Gen (R) Datuk Jamil Khir Baharom. Also present was Umno Cheras division chief Datuk Syed Ali Alhabshee.
"These continuous programmes are very important because the education sector is the country's most valuable asset which will produce individuals who can live up to the Vision 2020 mission," Jamil said at the ceremony.

Seventeen children of Umno members were presented RM200 each and certificates for their achievements in the Penilaian Menengah Rendah examination last year.
